Parenthood

This couple is so near and dear to my heart. My husband and I have known the daddy-to-be since high school. When he introduced us to the mom-to-be we just knew she was it for him. No question. They would be together forever. They are one of the most fun-loving real people we have eve had the pleasure of knowing. It's amazing knowing these people will be lifelong friends and we will get to watch each others babes grow up <3
I have only photographed them one time before this. It was a short, windy, and COLD day. We worked hard and fast. When she told me she was pregnant I was over the moon! I told her I would take all the photos of all the ting for them to add to their walls in their new place in D.C. (Yes they moved and while we are al happy for their new chapter, we are sad they are so far away!)
They are truly wonderful humans and will be FANTASTIC parents! Since they are such dear friends we also had a hand in planning their shower while they were here visiting! One of our other dear friends made all these amazing desserts you see (need anything, message me for her details)! We shot some before the shower, some during, and some after. Not a normal day for me, but for them I would do just about anything! Enjoy this little snippet of our amazing session that truly lasted all day, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!
