Christmas in February

Fittingly this first blog post will be about my always canvases. My little (not so little) babes. They have dealt with me practicing my skills whether on my phone or camera for over 5 years! I have taken thousands of pictures of them in every setting and lighting physically possible. Some are really good and some not so much. They have been patient and loving through the whole process! This shoot was no different. Before this I had taken few months away from my "big camera". I'm not really sure why. We had been traveling/living in Europe all summer. You think I would have my camera everywhere I went!!! Honestly, it was just too cumbersome to bring and handle both kids running around in unfamiliar territory! So, I settled for my phone and only planned out a couple shoots for "big camera" time. And even then I seemed to just have trouble getting things right. When I started this shoot it took a little bit to get back in the swing of it. I was more out of practice than I thought. Once I really got settled and shooting it was like riding a bike! It all came back and my babes gave me some great pictures and memories! I definitely have my confidence back and am ready to get shooting! I hope you enjoy this little tidbit of Christmas in February.
