Happy Birthday

There is something so glorious about shooting your friend's kids. I feel almost a sense of freedom when I work with friends. I can try things that I normally wouldn't with a client. For example; this shoot was a birthday and Easter shoot all mixed in one! With several outfit changes and props to be had, this sweet girl had a blast! She played with the balloons, fed her stuffed animals with my fake plants, danced with a carrot, laughed with mommy, and ate lots of bribe candy! They help me experiment with places, lighting, and props. We can just shoot and see where things take us! It's truly wonderful for my soul when I have a session like this that means so much to me! I so love this sweet family! They are family to us. I was beyond honored to take these pictures for them. I have had the hardest time deciding what to post. I hope I have done this session justice by picking what I did. It was true magic!
